Our mission is to respond to those in NH who need help – every child, teen, parent, veteran, family and senior – with programs that heal, comfort and empower.
We can only do this work because of our incredible community of donors, who continually show how their collective impact empowers and brings meaningful change to hundreds of NH residents each year.
Below are some of the many ways that your support truly moves lives forward.
Our Highlights
1-in-12 NH residents directly benefit from our services – equal to the entire population of Manchester, or 3 Fenway Parks filled to capacity
21,238 miles driven by CareGivers volunteers helping homebound seniors get to vital appointments – equivalent to driving across country and back four times
252 Veterans found support and assistance at Liberty House, working to overcome homelessness, PTSD, substance misuse and more on a path to independence and stability
83 Children are no longer homeless because their mothers found safety, shelter and hope for a new, self-sufficient life at New Generation
4,427 household members received emergency assistance, financial literacy training and emotional support from our Community Services program
268 Individuals developed coping skills to deal with difficult situations through sessions with our Mental Health Counseling Services program

Thousands of NH children lack adequate access to basic life needs, such as food, clothing and housing, and hundreds more endure adverse childhood experiences or behavioral challenges that impact their development and well-being.

Substance misuse is widespread in NH, a mental health challenge that 1-in-10 residents live with, though only 5% of them seek or receive appropriate treatment. Two high-risk populations are veterans, due to PTSD and other military-related experiences, and single mothers, who are more likely to develop substance misuse compared with other women.
