Families Coping with the Opioid Crisis

Unique Support for Families of Those Impacted by Addiction

When addiction causes problems, not only does the person with the addiction suffer, but those around the person also suffer. This presentation and Q&A session will provide invaluable support and guidance for family members and loved ones impacted by the opioid epidemic.

Attendees will learn:

  • A wealth of information on ways to better cope with and reduce their own suffering
  • Signs of opioid abuse
  • Effective communication and boundary setting techniques to improve their family relationships
  • Tips to avoid enabling a loved one with addiction

Licensed Catholic Charities counselors, medical professionals, educators, and family advocates with experience in Substance Use Disorder will be presenting. Attendees will also have the chance to directly connect with them and ask questions.

The program is free. Walk-ins are welcome; you may also register below.
