Unemployment can be a devastating situation for individuals and families, creating tense emotions, fostering the loss of routine and resulting in financial worry and challenges. Oftentimes, it can make you feel like you have failed.
But what you may not realize is being unemployed can be your chance for a more fulfilling job and career. Our new five-week online support group – “Unemployed: What Now? How do I Find A Job?” – will share ways that you can make the most of your opportunity and secure a job that you love.
Whether you are looking for a job for the first time or after a job loss, you will learn:
Session I: Unemployed: Grief, Finances and A Job Search Schedule
Session II: Writing Your Elevator Speech and Using Resources
Session III: Determining Your Skills
Session IV: Writing Your Resume
Session V: Interviewing: Phone and Face to Face Interviews
