Giving Tuesday

No Senior Should Go Hungry

Give Today

Matching Gift: The first $1,600 in gifts today will be matched, doubling your impact and ensuring even more homebound seniors eat every month.

Imagine the feeling of waking up and wondering how you’ll get enough to eat. Or having to skip meals because you can’t afford them.

That’s the heartbreaking reality for many homebound older adults in New Hampshire. They live on limited fixed incomes and are forced to make impossible choices: food or medicine, heat or groceries.

“I can’t physically go get groceries, I’m on a limited income, and I was just going without sometimes.”

– Edna, Age 97

No one should have to worry about not having enough food.

This Giving Tuesday, you can help ensure food security for at least 50 New Hampshire seniors over the next year. Your gift delivers monthly grocery deliveries, giving a worried older adult peace of mind, life-sustaining nutrition and the reassurance that someone cares.

Why Your Support Matters

  • Over 8,000 NH seniors face hunger daily – and thousands more are at risk.
  • Many live on fixed incomes that don’t stretch far enough in today’s economic climate.
  • You’re giving more than food, you’re giving dignity, relief and a reminder that someone cares.

OUR GOAL: Raise $12,000 to provide 50 seniors with a full year of monthly grocery deliveries through our CareGivers Caring Cupboard program in Greater Manchester and Greater Nashua.

Ways to Make a Difference

  • Sponsor a Senior and give groceries for a full year
  • Make a Gift knowing every dollar helps provide life-sustaining food and peace of mind
  • Volunteer and deliver the groceries that will brighten a senior’s day

Your Gift Changes Lives in Many Ways

Food Security

Edna will no longer have to worry if she’ll eat tomorrow. Monthly deliveries bring emotional relief and consistent nutrition.

Relief from Financial Pressure

Carol ate just one meal a day because her limited income left her to choose between groceries and her other bills. Your gift removes that impossible choice so she can focus on her health and well-being.

Connection and Hope

When Dan, our volunteer, arrives with groceries, Mary feels seen, remembered, and cared for. Your support reminds her that she’s not alone.
