Giving Tuesday

Feeding Homebound Seniors

Help Feed Homebound Seniors

No senior in New Hampshire should ever go to bed hungry. Yet, with rising food costs and increased living expenses, it’s sadly becoming more common. More than 8,000 seniors in New Hampshire don’t have enough access to the food they need.

This Giving Tuesday, join us for a special movement to help feed the growing number of homebound seniors, here in New Hampshire, facing food insecurity and surmounting financial challenges. Catholic Charities NH is raising funds to provide food assistance for local homebound seniors, most living on limited incomes struggling to afford basic needs. All funds raised will be used to provide grocery deliveries for seniors in Greater Manchester and Greater Nashua through the CareGivers’ Caring Cupboard.

Our Goal is Simple

Raise $30,000, which will guarantee 125 local homebound seniors will be able to receive monthly food deliveries for a year.

Your Gift Changes Lives in Many Ways

Enhancing Food Security

You’re providing better access to food meaning that a local senior can feel a huge sense of relief, knowing she will have enough food for the next year and won’t have to worry about where their next meal is coming from.

Easing Their Financial Burden

Your gift relieves these seniors from making difficult financial choices, just like Elaine. Living on a limited income, she will no longer face the tough decision between having enough food or affording her vital medical prescriptions.

Uplifting Quality of Life

Your support enhances the overall health and well-being of seniors, like Mary. With your help, Mary can shed the heavy burden of uncertainty and hunger, knowing she’s not alone – and compassionate individuals like you truly care.

Support Seniors Now

A gift of just $20 a month provides a year’s worth of grocery deliveries for a homebound senior!
