CCNH to Commemorate 75th Anniversary with Ice Ball
Catholic Charities New Hampshire is celebrating 75 years of transforming lives and bringing lasting hope to individuals, families and communities throughout the Granite State, with a special Ice Ball anniversary gala on Saturday, February 15 at 5:30 p.m., at the DoubleTree by Hilton in downtown Manchester.
The evening will feature a cocktail reception, dinner and dancing within a beautiful and festive atmosphere. Guests will also be treated to the coolest after-party with special drink stations and inventive desserts.
“The Ice Ball is a unique chance to look back at the powerful past of Catholic Charities NH, while turning toward a future of further protecting and supporting vulnerable populations statewide,” said Tom Blonski, president and CEO of Catholic Charities NH. “It’s an evening to honor, celebrate and thank our incredible community of donors, partners and staff, who without them, we would not be where we are today.”
Since 1945, Catholic Charities NH has served hundreds of thousands of individuals and families statewide, driving systematic change and moving lives from crisis and despair to self-sufficiency and stability. Beginning 75 years ago as an organization focused on services for children and seniors, Catholic Charites NH has grown into one of the state’s largest nonprofit social services agencies, building its wide range of programs to continually meet changing community and social needs, such as those related to poverty, mental health, substance use, protection of the elderly, emotional and behavioral disabilities among children, and most recently, homelessness in the veteran community. Today, the organization has more than 20 service locations, 1,000 employees, and seven award-winning skilled nursing facilities statewide.
