Peter Burger Appointed to CCNH Board of Trustees

Catholic Charities NH, the state’s largest human services organization, announces the addition of Peter Burger to its Board of Trustees.

Burger is President and Shareholder at Orr & Reno, with legal expertise in hospitality, mergers and acquisitions, business counseling, and succession planning. Over the past 10 years, he has led the sale, purchase, and financing of over one billion dollars in hotel transactions, a $50+ million acquisition of a beverage wholesale distributor, and other high-profile sales.

He received his Bachelor of Arts from Clark University and Juris Doctor from the Washington College of Law at American University. A resident of Concord, Burger has served as the Board Chair for New Hampshire Public Radio, Granite Edvance, the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire, in addition to being the current vice chair of the Concord Housing Authority. He has been regularly cited in The Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Finance Law, Corporate Law, and Real Estate Law since 2005.

“Catholic Charities NH has an impressive history of giving a hand up to those in need in a very efficient and caring way,” said Burger. “I’m excited to join the Board and actively contribute to a great organization and its mission of bringing healing, comfort, and empowerment to individuals and families across New Hampshire.”
