Vose Farm Residences Opens in Peterborough

Vose Farm Residences, an affordable workforce housing community developed by Catholic Charities NH, officially opened on Thursday, January 15, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Applications are now being accepted, with the first tenants expected to move in February.
Community leaders and partners joined Catholic Charities NH to mark the opening of Phase 1, which includes 64 one- and two-bedroom apartments for individuals, families, and older adults earning 50–60% of the area median income, along with five market-rate units.
Located along the banks of the Contoocook River, Vose Farm Residences offers modern design and amenities, including parking, laundry facilities, stainless steel appliances, security systems, and indoor and outdoor community gathering spaces. Rent includes heat, air-conditioning, and hot water. Residents also have access to free on-site services, including assistance with accessing, coordinating, and navigating community resources.
“Working families shouldn’t have to choose between affordability and quality,” said Jeff Lefkovich, Executive Director of Real Estate Services for Catholic Charities NH. “Vose Farm Residences proves you can have both – modern housing that supports stability, dignity, and a strong sense of community.”
“Today marks a significant milestone in our commitment to addressing the affordable housing crisis in our community,” said Rob Dapice, Executive Director and CEO of New Hampshire Housing. “We are proud to support this initiative alongside Catholic Charities NH and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on families and individuals in the Monadnock Region.”
“Any day that we cut the ribbon on new homes is a day of celebration,” said Cynthia Lacasse, Evernorth’s Executive Vice President and Chief Program Officer. “Catholic Charities NH’s programs benefit 1 in 12 New Hampshire residents and they deeply understand the needs of the community. We look forward to continuing this partnership to bring more affordable housing opportunities to our community.”
The development is a direct response to the growing lack of affordable housing for working individuals and families in the Monadnock Region. Catholic Charities NH is the project’s developer and sponsor. New Hampshire Housing coordinated the tax-exempt bond financing for construction. Equity financing is provided by Evernorth through its Housing New England Fund VI Limited Partnership, utilizing Low-Income Housing Tax Credits.”
Applications for residency at Vose Farm are available at vosefarmresidences.com.”
A future Phase 2 of Vose Farm Residences will bring an additional 32 apartments to the community.
