Catholic Charities NH Appoints Hechavarria & MacWilliam to Board

Catholic Charities NH, the state’s largest human services organization, is pleased to announce the appointments of Andrea Hechavarria and Andrew MacWilliam to its Board of Trustees.

Hechavarria currently serves as President & CEO of NH Life Sciences (NHLS), the first statewide membership association dedicated to advancing New Hampshire’s life sciences industry, which she co-founded in 2023. Her previous roles include Director of Government Affairs and Policy at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies and Chief of Staff and VP of Government Affairs at Butterfly Network. She also brings nearly a decade of experience working in the United States Senate. Hechavarria, an Amherst resident, holds an M.B.A from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and a B.A. in political science from Loyola University Maryland.

MacWilliam recently retired as a Senior Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where his experience included leading multi-disciplined teams providing audit, tax, M&A, and other professional services to privately held companies, PE/VC-owned portfolio companies, High Net Worth individuals and families, and private institutional investors. He brings nearly 40 years of public accounting experience across multiple sectors, including healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, and engineering and construction. A resident of Windham, MacWilliam serves on the boards of Easterseals NH, Elliot Health System, and The Baldwin. He is also Chairman of the Finance Council at St. Mark the Evangelist Church in Londonderry. He is a graduate of Babson College.
